Hey Will!
It's great to hear your voice again!!! You're on your way to full recovery and know how to do it one day at a time, and that's a real plus in your favor. Babs and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and send our love.
Abrazos all around,
Chuck
Patience...boy, what can I say. I read Kaye's post about the lack of patience and I understand. YOU WILL GET BETTER, it just won't happen overnight. I've been gimping around now for over a year and there have been some days...argh!...but, just in the last few weeks something has shifted for the better. Point is, I can look back now at those bad times and remember how frustrated I was and how I never thought this day would get here. Then it did and pretty soon I won't think this is good enough either.
It's going to take time, it builds character (not that you don't have enough!), bonds friendships, makes you look back during a rather mediocre day and think, "What a glorious day THIS DAY is!" because now you have something to refer back to. Right? I'm probably not helping, am I? Sorry, but that's the best I can do!
Dave and I are learning some new tunes. We'll come over and bore you spitless with swing tunes when you come home.
Keep fighting!!

Keep a positive attitude, Will! We know you will be out of there and back to Kansas before you know it!
Love,
Stephene
Wow!! Your latest post shows a time of 3:24 am. You're supposed to be resting! But, it's a remarkable feat that you got to post your own, so I'm glad.
As I mentioned in my email....my next skeet round will be with you yelling 'Call' for some mysterious reason and me yelling a boring PULL!
I can't wait!!! We've been darn worried for a month, glad to see some daylight!
Dave
Soo glad to hear from you, Will. You are so brave and courageous, and you will be strong again. The one day at a time deal is slow and tedious. We think about you and hope this day is a better day.
Yesterday we looked at some of the old camping pictures. We were rounding up pictures for Bart's 40th birthday party. Think about those great times we all had! Sitting around the campfire as you played guitar and sang, hiking, canoeing, cooking - it was fabulous. We have some great pictures of all of us. Those are happy thoughts to help pass the time.
Know you are in our thoughts.
Love, Bob and Janet
